Genealogy Group Meeting

Thursday, March 2, 2017 6:30pm, Wakulla County Library.

We are hoping to see a video or two from Roots Tech 2017. We may have to see some from another year. We are also going to talk about our February meeting. If you missed it you missed a lot of information.

See you on the 2nd of March.

Who are we?

Wakulla Genealogy Group is an auxiliary group of the Wakulla County Historical Society. We strive to preserve history through genealogical research and to educate our interested individuals in the process of research. We meet the first Thursday of each month, September through May, at 6:30. Meeting location is the Wakulla County Public Library, which is located in Medart on US 319 South. We have the Archives and Museum Shop open every Thursday & Friday from 10AM - 4PM & Saturday 10AM - 2PM. Come by and we'll help you research. We need volunteers to work as Greeters, Sales Person in the Museum Shop, and office help!

What is our goal?

Our goal is to assist other genealogists in their search for information in our area of Florida and document and preserve our own family heritage.

As you may be aware there many projects that need to be done. If you would like to help us transcribe or help with any of our other projects, please let us know. You can reach us through our email address, which is 24research@gmail.com.
